Chix believes in creating a lifestyle; improving the way people eat on a daily basis and promoting positive changes in the local community while having a small environmental footprint. We nourish our customers with a friendly, casual atmosphere; our staff with personal and professional development support; and community members through focused philanthropy.
Our food is locally sourced, organic, all natural, healthy, and prepared fresh on site.
We offer fresh wholesome meals prepared in small batches to promote minimal food waste. All of our packaging, cutlery, plates, napkins, and take-out bags are compostable. We compost and recycle the majority of our waste, we use all-natural and organic food products, and our decor and construction is eco-friendly. Our chicken is locally sourced, antibiotic free, halal and hormone free. We educate people about health and the environment by participating in community events, sponsoring youth programs, supporting local non-profits, and partaking in speaking engagements in the community and at universities throughout DC.
We believe that doing the right thing (even when it costs us) - and focusing on healthy, delicious food - will allow our company, our staff, and our community to flourish.
